For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s fault”, think about these facts.  On, January 3rd, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress:

• The Dow Jones closed at 12,621.77 (Incredibly as of this writing it is now on the verge of 13,000)
• The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%.
• The unemployment rate was 4.6%.
• George Bush’s economic policies had set a record of 52 straight months of job creation!

Since President Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act on March 23, 2010, many Constitutionalists agree that the Federal law exceeds the power granted to Congress under the United States Constitution. Because of this, many state leaders around our nation are stepping forward to protect our individual freedom to choose – and voicing a need for the proper exercising of tenth amendment and state nullification actions.

With nearly two-hundred years of statehood and the belief of state sovereignty written into their constitution, Missouri is the latest State to lead the charge for individual freedom and responsibility. Recently, leaders like Rep. Kurt Bahr have been working to persuade the Missouri general assembly to enact interposition measures in preventing the enforcement (within the State) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. What this means is that if HB1534 should be signed into law, any agent of the Federal government who attempts to enforce the Federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act within Missouri, can be found guilty of a class A misdemeanor. Additionally, any person subject to actions attempted in enforcing of the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act within Missouri, could receive damages from any person violating the provisions.

Official Summary

3/16/2011–Introduced.Global Combat Zone Recognition Act – Treats a member of the Armed Forces (member) or civilian employee of the Department of Defense (DOD) (employee) who is killed or wounded in an attack outside a combat zone as a member killed or wounded in a combat zone or an employee killed or wounded while serving with the Armed Forces in a contingency operation, respectively, for purposes of all applicable federal laws, regulations, and policies. Excludes from such consideration any member or employee whose death or injury is the result of misconduct, as determined by the Secretary of Defense. Provides retroactive coverage under this Act with respect to victims of attacks at:

(1) Fort Hood, Texas, on November 5, 2009;
(2) a recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas, on June 1, 2009; and
(3) the Frankfurt Airport, Germany, on March 2, 2011. Directs the Secretary to notify appropriate members and employees or their next-of-kin of the availability of benefits as the result of this Act.

Did you know that the military victims of Islamic jihad terrorism at Ft. Hood and the Little Rock Recruitment Center are not eligible for the Purple Heart? 

The reason is that our Defense Department is defining these acts as “criminal” acts rather than as acts of “war.” In fact, the Ft. Hood massacre was classified as “workplace violence!”

This is in keeping with the Obama administration position that terrorists like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11, are not “enemy combatants” but “alleged criminals.”

Not only do we strongly disagree with this designation, we find it outrageous and completely unacceptable that those in our armed forces killed by jihadists on our soil are not eligible for the Purple Heart.

The money is part a deal valued at $25 billion that the five banks announced Feb. 9 with PresidentBarack Obama’s deputies and with a coalition of 50 attorneys general. Ninety percent of the value consists of mortgage write-offs, accounting changes and cash transfers that are to be delivered to homeowners over the next three years.

But $1.1 billion in cash will be transferred to the Democratic attorneys general as soon as the deal is approved by a judge, which is expected to happen in March or April.

The bank deal is also slated to deliver almost $1.4 billion to Republican attorneys general, but many of the GOP attorneys general have already announced they will transfer the funds to state legislatures.

The deal is a government shakedown of bank executives and their shareholders, said Tom Fitton, the president of Judicial Watch, a law firm that promotes transparency in funding.

By using the courts, the Democrats and their patronage groups have seized money and the ability to favor constituencies that elected legislators in Congress had already denied them, Fitton told The Daily Caller.

“The left is very adept at using the offices of the federal government to keep itself funded, and Republicans are generally oblivious to this,” he said. “Tax dollars shouldn’t be going to interest groups on the left — or the right,” he said.

Few Republicans, he said, “understand that they need to defund the left.”

Some GOP leaders are becoming alarmed about the political payoffs in the growing number of bank lawsuits.

On Jan. 25 Texas Republican Rep. Lamar Smith, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, asked Attorney General Eric Holder to explain a December $335 million deal with Bank of America that would direct some of the funds to progressive groups.

Democratic-affiliated groups are already lobbying to win shares of the Feb. 9 funds, including a share of the $430.2 million being sent to California Attorney General Kamala Harris.

“In the last conversations we had with [Harris' office] … they were still trying to decide how that money will be best used,” said Rosa Cabrera Aqeel, a community organizer in California for People Improving Communities through Organizing. “It is our understanding that we will be working cooperatively about how those funds are spent,” she added.

“There are local community organizations that are struggling to keep the doors open and they are really on the front lines of this,” said Jordan Estevao, a D.C. advocate for the National People’s Campaign and a coalition of progressive groups, dubbed the New Bottom Line campaign. “In many cases, it would be appropriate for them to get help in organizing homeowners and making sure that banks are held accountable,” he said.

Instead of $25 billion, the banks should be held responsible for the $336 billion that homeowners are underwater, said Estevao.

Once the attorneys general cash their checks, the flow of funds “will be difficult to track,” Fitton said.

Some of the money may be sent to advocacy groups that are allied with the Democratic Party, said Dan Epstein, at Cause of Action, which tracks corruption in federal funding.

“There is concern about Action Now, Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment … and New York Communities for Change,” which were affiliates of the controversial street-politics group, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, he said in a statement to TheDC.

The first one was that the rampant rapes at OWS camps are totally okay. Because, A Cause. Jumping right in came the ever disgusting Keith Olbermann, late to the whitewashing of OWS gravy train. He started by not denouncing  Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas’s statement that no one cares if women are raped at OWS camps because it’s about the message. Suck it up, ladies! What’s a little rape if it’s for a cause? It’s all about the “movement”. Women, as always, are disposable and expendable to the Left. And victims can be re-victimized and exploited; the end justifies the means, you see. Even if the means are raped women.

He then doubled-down by claiming that a 14 year old girl had consensual sex, so it wasn’t rape. With a 24 year old convicted sex offender. To Olbermann, a vile, despicable excuse for a man (I wouldn’t want to disparage illegitimate children by comparing them to this scum), it’s no big whoop. I mean, she’d probably just grow up to be a mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick anyway, right Keith? It wasn’t truly surprising, since the Left pulled the same thing in defense of their fellow traveler, Roman Polanski. Remember, that wasn’t rape-rape of a 13 year old child. It’s not child rape if someone who shares your Lefty ideology does it. Plus, I’m sure they think, hey, he only sodomized her. He was saving her from the risk of a ‘punishing’ pregnancy and the threat of actual rape via ultrasound. Which leads us to the second exploitative meme: transvaginal ultrasounds are the equivalent of rape.

Fantasy replaces reality in Obama’s green economy

President Obama’s rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline wasn’t, as he claimed, based on science or the environment. It certainly wasn’t based on sound economic policy, either. The decision was, in fact, the product of voodoo environomics: a destructive blend of bad science based on fear-mongering and manipulated research, the bad economics of green-job fantasies and “starve the beast” energy politics.

At the very heart of voodoo environomics, of course, is the much-hyped theory linking man-made carbon dioxide (CO2) and climate change. Without the world’s policy focus on CO2 emissions, climate-change alarmists would be robbed of the ammunition they need to change and control human behavior via draconian energy policies. They also would be robbed of the substantial financial support needed to continue their biased research.

When adopted as official government policy, voodoo environomics can wreak havoc on the economy and represents a double whammy for working Americans. The admitted goal of CO2-slashing schemes such as “cap and trade” is to jack up the price of energies like gasoline and coal to make expensive alternative energies more competitive financially. Of course, their proponents hope you don’t realize that it’s ordinary Americans who are stuck paying higher prices for utilities and gasoline.

But the hit working Americans take under voodoo environomics doesn’t end with higher utility bills and gas prices. In bowing to environmental extremists in rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline project, Mr. Obama has abandoned working Americans – or should I say unemployed Americans in search of good jobs?
